Awakened is a short-term mission opportunity designed for young adults stepping into ministry for the first time.
Through hands-on outreach, spiritual To offer young people (ages 18–40) a life-shaping, first experience of serving others, growing in faith, and discovering God's heart for people in Mauritius.
You must be prepared to step out of your comfort zone and ready to serve among those children who are from less privileged areas.
Hva du kan forvente
Participants will collaborate with the local workers. During this time, you will:
- Grow spiritually through daily devotions, nature-based Bible studies, and intentional times of reflection and prayer.
- Serve the vulnerable by leading creative programs for children from difficult backgrounds and connecting with people living with disabilities.
- Partner with the local church through Vacation Bible School and supporting local children’s ministry teams.
- Engage in cross-cultural learning by exploring Mauritian culture, hearing from local missionaries, and learning how to pray for the nation.
- Live and serve in community, encouraging one another and learning what it means to be the body of Christ in action.

Age Range: 18-40
You are 18–40 years old and want to grow in your faith while serving others. You feel called to missions but do not really know where to start, this mission trip will help you get a better understanding of missions. You are preferably:
- Open to learning and growing
- Willing to serve with humility and joy
- Eager to step out of your comfort zone
- A good team player
