5 days of Easter in Mannheim: Training, prayer, and outreach with Christians—experience God's love and share hope on the streets. Hope for the City
Mannheim is a place where people from many nations and cultures come together. But many of them don't yet know—or have forgotten—the life-changing power of the risen Jesus. We believe that the Gospel can bring real hope, freedom, and true life to people here in our city.
Easter is such a great opportunity to share this good news! The holiday itself opens the door for conversations, and we would love to see many people in Mannheim discover the hope that only Jesus can give.
Which language should I be able to speak?
The stage program will be conducted in German and English. There will most likely also be the possibility of translations into Arabic, Farsi, and Turkish.
I'm from Mannheim and don't need accommodation. Can I attend just for the day?
For day guests (without meals and accommodation), participation is free, but a small donation for materials and costs is appreciated.
Please contact us so we have a rough idea of how many people to expect. .

À quoi s'attendre
During these five days in Mannheim, we want to dive deep into the Easter story and the Gospel together. Everything we long to share with others must first ignite in our own hearts. Together we will reflect on the suffering of Jesus and celebrate His victory over sin, death, and Satan. The freedom we have received through Jesus Christ is meant to be shared with everyone.
We will worship God through prayer and praise, receive training in evangelism, and share our hope with the people of Mannheim. For this, we’re organizing different street outreaches, seeking to be led by the Holy Spirit. Of course, fellowship and personal exchange will also be an important part of our time together.
Our hope and prayer is that you will return to your churches inspired, ready to share Jesus with people in your own city and community.

Age Range: 18-80
You walk with Jesus and want to grow in being his disciple. You are willing to learn and share your faith in the streets of Mannheim. You are able to be on your feet for a whole afternoon. You are willing to take public transport from the hostel to the church.

Un logement sera-t-il fourni ?
You can either arrange your own accommodation or register with accommodation included.
If you book with accommodation, you will stay at the youth hostel in Mannheim https://www.jugendherberge.de/jugendherbergen/mannheim-international/
Cost with accommodation: 220€
Cost without accommodation: 80€
What is included in the cost?
Meals, conference fee, and all materials and literature for the mission - depends on you booking with or without accommodation
Lunch on Saturday you have to buy by yourself
De la nourriture sera-t-elle fournie ?
If you book with accommodation:
All meals – breakfast, lunch, and dinner – will be provided from dinner on April 2nd until breakfast on April 6th.
If you book without accommodation:
All meals (except breakfast) will be provided from dinner on April 2nd until dinner on April 5th.
The only exception in both oppurtunities is lunch on Saturday, April 4th. Since it will be a busy day, we will eat on the go and buy street food, so please remember to bring a few euros in cash for that day.

Arrival Information:
We will send detailed instructions several weeks before the mission. Please try to arrive in Mannheim by 4:00 PM on April 2nd, 2026.
Do I need to bring bedding or towels?
Bedding is included in the price and provided by the youth hostel. You will only need to bring your own towels or rent them for a small fee.

You should have general good health and also be able to be on your feet for almost the whole day.
